AMERICAN TRANSLATORS ASSOCIATION

The American Translators Association (ATA) was founded in 1959 to promote the translation and interpreting professions in the US. Now present in more than 90 countries, its main role is to support translators and interpreters around the world.

ATA offers a certification in 18 languages that guarantees the expertise and work experience of each translator.

GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION

The General Services Administration is a government agency which helps manage logistics and communication matters for federal agencies and makes purchases for the government.

The GSA selects and approves companies to be vendors for the United States government in numerous industries. Accent on Languages has been a GSA-approved language agency since 2003 and has worked for many federal agencies.

CALIFORNIA MULTIPLE AWARD SCHEDULE

The California Multiple Award Schedules (CMAS) is an organization which offers state agencies and local governments various products and services from local suppliers at prices that have been determined as fair, reasonable and competitive. It is managed by the California Department of General Services. Accent on Languages holds a CMAS contract, and is therefore an official contractor for state agencies. SMALL AND LOCAL EMERGING BUSINESS (Alameda County)

Alameda county’s Small, Local and Emerging Business (SLEB) program increases business opportunities for small businesses located in Alameda County. It was created in order to encourage economic development within Alameda County.
