Orientation for new interpreters

Ms. Francine Kuipers, CEO of Accent on Languages Inc., is conducting an orientation session for individuals wishing to become new professional interpreters.

The session is scheduled on Saturday, February 28th, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Accent on Languages headquarters located at 1840 Alcatraz Avenue, in Berkeley, CA.

December NCTA GM – Save the Date!

NCTA’s next General Meeting will be held on Saturday, December 6.  General meetings provide an excellent opportunity not just to network and learn something new about the industry, but also to contribute to the governance of the association.  There is an orientation for new members and refreshments will be provided.

The speakers at this winter’s General Meeting, Frederik L. Schodt and Beth Cary, will give a presentation On Translating Animation Director Hayao Miyazaki, a Japanese director known primarily for his lyrical feature animation films.
